Our History

TheWayOut was originally established as an ISP late 1995, specializing in leased line Internet connectivity. Through its emphasis on customer-oriented service, the company soon emerged to be a reputable and leading player in the market, taking on some of the biggest corporate clients in Egypt. Amongst the first clients for TheWayOut were international corporations such as the Commercial International Bank (CIB) and Coca-Cola. With a service standard that suited the needs of corporate clients, The Way Out secured its position as one of the leading ISPs in Egypt.

TheWayOut further developed its service by providing integrated multi-platform communication and networking solutions. Through its dedication to provide the highest standard service with stringent quality management the company soon embarked on projects on an international scale, working with the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) as well as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). As a pioneer in providing communication solutions, TheWayOut was the first company to develop an on-line shopping solution, allowing consumers to make purchasing decisions from the comfort of their homes or offices in Egypt. Additionally, TheWayOut implemented wide area network solutions over Internet protocol in order to connect international branches of businesses. TheWayOut was also the pioneer in developing Web based on-line banking in Egypt, placing TheWayOut years ahead of competitors.

In late 1997 TheWayOut became a joint-stock company. The company's status change had no effect on its client service policy. TheWayOut serves each client as if they were the first and only client. What has always set TheWayOut apart is the vision of its management, which enabled the company to provide services that surpassed those provided by the rest of the competition. This revolutionary vision led TheWayOut to launch its latest business venture: Wireless High-Speed Internet Access.

In 2003 TheWayOut launched the latest in cutting-edge Internet technology: wireless high-speed Internet access (Wi-Fi) - taking Internet connectivity to new frontiers. With a strong client-base, TheWayOut secured itself as the leading Wi-Fi provider within the local market. TheWayOut expanded this exclusive service regionally and achieved a superior success rate, which led to the opening of branches in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Oman. Today, TheWayOut has grown to become one of the largest and most diversified ISPs in the Middle East.

In 2009 TheWayOut launched its first fully featured IPTV system with the lastes tehcnology to fulfill the needs of the Highclass Hospitality Guests. The system was continuous development and enhancement to include more features and better interface and interaction .
